A new product has dropped on gel the market – Liquid Shots from First Endurance. They claim it might be the end of all gels as we know them … and they just might be right.

Here is what you need to know:

  • Great flavor, but not too sweet.
  • These have all the “junk” additives removed to deliver pure energy
  • 28g of carbs. I recommend you take 2 per hour
  • 25mg of caffeine (in the Kona Mocha flavor)

I really enjoy both flavors (Kona Mocha & Wild Berry) – it is designed to be pleasing, but not so sweet that you get flavor fatigue.

From a formulation standpoint, they removed fructose as they feel it is a detriment to performance and added electrolytes to help prevent cramping.

First Endurance has been around for 20+ years, and if you are unfamiliar with the brand, they are known for putting a significant amount of research and testing into their products to provide users with clinical studies.

These well-formulated shots have brought together science and wonderful taste, giving you top-notch fueling.

Here is why Liquid Shots are different than other gels:

A New Fuel Source Technology:

The Liquid Shots blend complex carbs for slow-burning energy and what is called high-glycemic carbs for fast energy your body uses immediately.

No GI Distress:

Liquid Shots have a similar viscosity as Neversecond gels; they don’t require water to take and have a light flavor for easy consumption.

More Electrolytes Means Less Risk of Dehydration and Cramping:

Get all five electrolytes (instead of just one or two that is common in other gels), to help support intense efforts and help you avoid cramping.

How to take Liquid Shots:

The best way to incorporate the Liquid Shots is to use them with First Endurance’s Hydration Mix or First Endurance Hydration Mix Pro as your foundation. Then take Liquid Shots to increase carb intake and to help support additional electrolytes, especially if it is particularly hot out.

We recommend you take two per hour during workouts of 90 minutes or more.

Gel on!
